June 2007 Completion Ceremony at New York City Tech
On June 6, 2007, CUNY's New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn celebrated the achievements of 27 students at its Disability Studies Certificate Completion Ceremony. These students completed the 12-credit undergraduate certificate under the guidance of Dean Carol Sonnenblick, Dr. Justine Pawlukewicz, Chair of the Human Services Department, and David Pedreira, Assistant Director at the Continuing Studies Center.

The graduates pictured here represent Association for the Help of Retarded Children, AHRC, and are joined by Ruby Kornfeld, AHRC's Director of Training and Development.

Recent Graduate Receives Accolades
NYSACRA, the New York State Association of Community and Residential Agencies, featured Ommadatt Persaud, a Direct Support Professional at FEGS and a 2006 Disability Studies Certificate graduate, in its recent brochure.
